Passion is not All

Passion Is Not All

Can you make money from what you are passionate about? How many times have
you heard “follow your passion?” Passion is fine if it something that you are
concerned about.
You can be concerned about pollution and passionate about cleaning up your
neighborhood.

You can be passionate about plants and dedicate most of your time tending the
garden to the detriment of other tasks.

However it may not necessarily bring you happiness and contentment.

Most people want passion- which I call inspiration- to result in a translation.
This simply means that you cannot go around communicating or believing that
you are passionate about something when you are doing nothing about it. Reading
only about human right atrocities, reading books on photography, reading magazines
and periodicals on food, may be passion but without action it is useless. It
needs to translate into some tangible impact in your world, or others, to be
called passion.

The true gauge of whether your passion can bring you accolades and financial
success is if what you want to do can be done with very little effort from
your side and with no struggle.

In fact it must look more and more like a gift that you were born with. If
it is done with little effort and does not seem like a struggle, then it must
come across as a talent to you and others.

However don’t make a mistake believing that it stops there. Your gift or talent
may be in its raw form.It will need development, raining, classes, workshops, fine tuning.

A lot of successful and effective people found their passion, found out that
it was a gift and talent and went on to get financial success out of it.

They make it seem so easy.
